Adam Frelin and is Pulsive bulding
A series of apartment buildings and hotels are videotaped from the exterior at night. In each building, the blinking blue light created by television sets can be seen in different configurations, from a few corner rooms to an entire building façade. Several of the windows pulsate in perfect unison. This syncopated pulsing occurs at random times and is not governed by a predictable rhythm.
This combination of syncopation paired with randomness creates a hypnotic effect that is both relaxing and tense.
