Graffiti art from Barcellona Spain, the style of Uritmetica

I don't remember when was the first time I was having a walk around, and I detest the structure of the reality, cause my self wasn't represented on. I begin to imagine a reality with my direct participation, maybe fruit of the individualism at this age maybe fruit of the readings from philosophy and religious literature Dostoievsky (the last course at university), Saint Silouan Athonita, or Losev.
I only pretend to remove the soul with harmonic vibration, picturelly, without depart from the mimesis of the reality cause any experience from the idea, since Platon, is demoniacal.
I wanna give an experience without name, indeterminated feelings maybe, and trying to give a diferenciated emotion, with another rythm or compas.

Uritmetica (Uri Martinez) is a component from Los Martinez crew: the group wich have, not in the rapper scene, barcelona's flow. The crew with people from the neighbourhood founded by Uri and Kenor with Zosen, Kafre, Pez, Ovni, Gola, Tom 14, Maze, Sensible, Gato.

Cornbread, the Godfather of Graffiti

Everybody know the history of Graffiti Writing, with the legendary Taki 183 in New York City subway, but here in this document you can find somebody whom is attempting to gain the name of the Godfather of Graffiti.

Darryl McCray started writing "Cronbread loves Cynthia" all over his Philadelphia school to get the attention of a girl he liked. He then expanded all over the city with his tag, simply, "Cornbread," with a crown over the B. He is now acknowledged as the creator of modern graffiti, which served as the backdrop to the rise of Hip Hop.

In the following video you can find a short interview of Cornbread:

Also have a look at an interesting movie "Cry of the City", history of Cornbread.

Synopsis Cry of Cry of the Cityr.

This documentary chronicles the life of Philadelphia-based legend Darryl “Cornbread” McCray, the man credited as being the father of modern day graffiti and hip hop.

Cry of the City... profiles Cornbread’s life, from growing up tagging walls to the ups and downs that led to his dedication as a social worker and father.

Interviews throughout the documentary with Jane Golden (Philadelphia Mural Arts), Pose 2 (another wall-writer), his son Troy, and friends show different facets of the man and how he helped establish a world-wide cultural movement.

The Subconscious Art of Graffiti Removal

Graffiti removal: the act of removing tags and graffiti by painting over them.

Subconscious art: a product of artistic merit that was created without conscious artistic intentions.

It is no coincidence that funding for “anti-graffiti” campaigns often outweighs funding for the arts. Graffiti removal has subverted the common obstacles blocking creative expression and become one of the more intriguing and important art movements of our time. Emerging from the human psyche and showing characteristics of abstract expressionism, minimalism and Russian constructivism, graffiti removal has secured its place in the history of modern art while being created by artists who are unconscious of their artistic achievements.

Production of The Subconscious Art of Graffiti Removal took approximately six months and was completed in January 2001. Shooting was done primarily in Portland, Oregon and other pacific northwest locations. The piece was shot in both 16mm film and digital video, and post-production was completed with desktop editing and animation software.

Style1 - Aerosol art with style

Style1 has began started painting with spray colors around 1997, prompted for his interest in hip-hop culture. Andrea aka Style1 is his own unique name used for elaborating his style and lettering since the begining.

After a period of intense study and observations to the differences between writing and Aerosol art, he started to create his own personal style based on tree dimensional shapes.

In his own research the year 1999 was really important. At that time he achieved a new style based on intersections, fragmentations and warping of floating stripes and shapes in the 3D space.

Since 1999 colors and shapes has radically changed, but in his current artwork he keeps the original thinking about 3D design as 1999.

In the recently years Style1 has participated in different art happening around Italy and Europe.
Pictures of his artwork have been published on different magazines and books.

Style1 is also webmaster of Aerosol art.it, important Italian website which is main aim its selecting and promoting the best artists for Aerosol art around Italy.

For more information and pictures, please visit Style1 web site at: www.style1.org

The Video below is a documentation of 10 years of Style1 activity. In this video you can appreciate the evolution of his 3D style.

Below some pictures of aerosol art from the artist Style1 - 2007 :

Street Art - Artist Kinsey

Kinsey is an artist working spontaneously, utilizing different materials like , canvas, chipboard, wood, acrylic paints, pen and inks.
Kinsey constructs multi-layered, textured environments easily likened to the complexities of contemporary urban life.

Style and substance of his body of work originates in street art, such as his “unlearn” message, and in keeping with his goal “to expose as many people to art as possible and to honor the power art has when it’s created and accepted”, Kinsey founded the BLK/MRKT Gallery, allowing him to provide a crossroads for a new movement of young and electrifying iconoclasts.
