Have a look at Inflatable Street Sculptures by Joshua Allen Harris

Joshua Allen Harris has created some fantastic New York street art in the form animals made out of shopping bags positioned on subway street grates that cause them to periodically inflate and animate.

Diego SLY Colussi

“… in his paintings Diego SLY Colussi never imposes a meaning of the world; he rather tries to charm it, rooting our imagination. The magic he makes becomes a fantastic and creative way of speaking. A dreaming heart beats and fluctuates in Diego’s chromatic jungle as in his works of writer. The dream power lives in his pictures together with phisycal elements; this artist is a fancy maker; he turns on a light inside us. He comes out and hazards to discover for our incredulous eyes his archaic and secret landscapes…”
by Francesca Brandes art critic

“I don’t think real world is so interesting,
Maybe I want to transponse the unreal into my pictures
No
I want it
I want to unify and break up the unreal world
I want to let you see through it and brush by it
This belongs to me and belongs to the whole.”

Helios and his graffiti art from Salerno - Italy

Helios and his graffiti art from italy salerno
I started writing my name in 1997 in my city, Salerno.
My crews are Cafardo Energizer, a big family in the street, ZSE and BNS crews, the only one with KNF and UHT crews that pushed writing in my city and all over the world.

I made normal wild-style for several years, but at the same time I tried to make characters, specially photorealistic.

Since 2002 I started to do something different for me, like stupid-style and strange design in the fill-in of letters, using waving outlines, specially in trains with my partner-in-crime Thomas.

My 2008 style is all about to destroying the technique…I think that it’s the main reason killing the syles. I don’t give a fuck to cut all my outlines, to do the cleanest line or to make a wonderful fadings, I can do it but I paint with cheap paint and I like to fuck the graffiti-business that is killing our creativity. I painted some trains since 2001, but actually I don’t have panel-fever, I sometimes paint on trains, but I don’t like to lick asses for a panel, I prefer to know people like a friends, and after like a writers.

Now I use all kinds of spray paint and paint for my work, that looks like a old, dirty and bad lettering. Big part of this interview’s readers is thinking that my work it’s not COOL like the super-bited styles now are rocking the Italian scene, but I think that there is a little part of the scene, like you, that loves to be original and evolve personal style and likes who try to do something different (NOT NEW OR 100% ORIGINAL) because I think that I need more than a life to create something 100% personal.

Sometimes I use the undercover paint on the wall, I remake and add my design elements, and after I do my letters. Other times I simply free my mind and my hand, looking what is coming out; sometimes what you can see in my works is a big composition of images that enter in my mind, I put all the elements in a bottle, I shake it and paint. Other times I sketch all the composition, I don’t really belive that there is a format for the art, it’s our free space, we can do all we want about style, the topic, technique and tools…

I do beautiful sunrises and full-palm beach for pizza-shop and insides, in the street

I prefer to feel her sound and smell.
