Reverse graffiti

Reverse Graffiti done in San Francisco

San Francisco’s Broadway tunnel is a highly traveled thoroughfare in the heart of the city. Over 20,000 cars, trucks, and motorized vehicles pass through it per day. Its walls are caked with dirt and soot, and lined with patches of paint covered graffiti from days gone by. It set the perfect canvas to create a beautiful work of art showcasing the talents of reverse graffiti artist “Moose”, and the power of Green Worksplant based cleaner.

An Explanation - Tagged In Motion from graffiti creator Daim

Tagged in Motion is a experimental bridge between real graffiti art and its virtual depiction. The centre of attention is the graffiti artist DAIM (artist graffiti), who co-created the nextwall. Equipped with the appropriate technology, DAIM sprays graffiti into empty space. In a large hall, three cameras using Motion Capturing record DAIM's position and the movements he executes with a virtual spray can. The assimilated data is shown to him in real time in a pair of video glasses - as free-floating 3D graffiti in space. In this way he can decide how and where to apply his strokes, and via a Bluetooth controller can also determine the colours, strength of brushstrokes and textures of his work.

Check it out Daim draw graffiti letter in this video:

Drawing in the space with light

LightFaktor is drawing in the space with light.
Using an exposure of about ten-to-thirty seconds and a tripod for best results, Light Graffiti artists start at the first click. Glowsticks, flashlights, reflectors, and even torches have been used as mediums to create all sorts of designs and tags, as the artist becomes a ghost of a blur, if visible at all.
Any person, place, or thing can become a central piece of the art. Hardcore taggers are set on Light Graffiti not actually being graffiti art because LightFaktor doesn’t have a physical presence, but after seeing photos of it, it’s not too different from tagging a building and having it covered or removed the next day.
Light Faktor moto is No Harm, No Foul.
